A spacious traditional 500 year old grade 2 listed thatched character cottage, with many original features and private parking.  Lying within the conservation area of picturesque Lapford village, one of the few remaining self sufficient villages in Devon including it's own village pub/restaurant and shops.  This delightful village is within easy driving distance of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks, the Cathedral City of Exeter, Tiverton, Barnstable and Okehampton.  The Tarka Trail, Two Moors Way & Eggsford Forest offer walking, cycling and horse riding.  Fishing and golf can also be enjoyed locally.  

Virginia Cottage has two bedrooms with delightful views over the village and surrounding countryside. The bedrooms sleep up to a maximum of 4 adults (with ample space for a child’s travel cot), there is also a sofa-bed in the lounge.  The cottage has a modern, fully equipped, spacious kitchen-diner with French doors opening directly into the garden. The garden is fully enclosed, south facing and lawned with flower borders. It has a sunny patio area with furniture and gas barbeque. The comfortable sitting room has a beautiful Inglenook fireplace with original bread oven and a log burning stove. To the rear of the lounge is a useful area with table and chairs ideal for children’s games or jigsaw puzzles. The bathroom is on the ground floor.
